UNESCO

An institutional partner of the project, UNESCO plays a central role in the deployment of the Echoes Fund. Through its global network of World Heritage sites and its close relationships with local communities, UNESCO facilitates access to Indigenous territories involved in the project. It also hosts the photographic exhibitions during its major cultural and scientific events, offering international visibility to the voices and knowledge being shared. Its renown, expertise, and commitment to intangible heritage significantly strengthen the media and institutional impact of the project, providing a trustworthy and credible framework for patrons wishing to support an initiative that is cultural, environmental, and deeply human.

Fondation Danielle Mitterrand

The Danielle Mitterrand Foundation — France Libertés is a foundation created in 1986 by Danielle Mitterrand, recognised as a public utility, which works to build democratic, solidarity-based and ecological alternatives to models that threaten human rights and ecosystems.

It supports grassroots citizen initiatives, particularly those led by local or indigenous communities, encourages the most vulnerable to speak out, campaigns for the recognition of common goods — such as the right to access water — and raises public awareness of the ecological emergency.

National Géographic Explorer

Recognized for its commitment to the preservation of cultures and the environment, National Geographic would be a strategic partner for the Echoes Fund. With its expertise in visual storytelling and its global audience, National Geographic could support the project through editorial collaboration, by featuring the photographs in its print or digital platforms, or by co-organizing key events around the exhibition. Such a partnership would give international resonance to the Indigenous testimonies collected, while reinforcing the project’s credibility and media impact among the general public and patrons sensitive to both climate and cultural issues.

Kodak

Kodak, a historic leader in imaging and a recognized partner of numerous impactful photographic projects, could play a key role in the practical implementation of the Echoes Fund project. By supporting the project through donations or loans of photographic equipment for Indigenous communities, Kodak would directly contribute to their empowerment, enabling them to document their reality through their own perspectives. This symbolic and logistical support would strengthen the ethical and participatory dimension of the project, while positioning Kodak as a committed supporter of engaged creativity, intercultural dialogue, and environmental justice.

The Cornelius Arts Foundation (TCAF) is a charitable research and development foundation committed to understanding and unleashing the transformative power of art.

Born out of the legacy of Cornelius and Yvonne van Droogenbroeck (aka Mr. and Mrs. Nell), passionate patrons and collectors, the foundation continues their vision by placing art at the heart of projects that are pragmatic, sustainable and deeply human.

Through innovative programmes (residencies, Ginkgo Lab, research on arts education, wellbeing, innovation, nature, etc.), TCAF explores how art can resonate in everyone's lives, contribute to intercultural dialogue, support communities and produce real social impact.

Active in the United Kingdom and internationally, TCAF invites artists, researchers and partners to collaborate in making art not just an aesthetic experience, but a force for concrete and shared transformation.

The Maewan Association is a non-profit organisation created in 2019, which uses a sailing boat as a nomadic platform to carry out educational and environmental activities. Its aim is to raise awareness of sustainable development issues through expeditions, sport and inspiring encounters, encouraging us to rethink our relationship with the planet and build a more environmentally friendly future. It offers awareness programmes for young people and future generations, in France and abroad. A collaboration with Maewan allows participation in expeditions, in particular to visit the locations of Echoes Project missions. Artistic residencies will also be set up in 2026 on the Maewan V expedition sailing boat.

Natives magazine is the first French-language media outlet entirely dedicated to indigenous peoples. It gives a direct voice to their members and representatives, drawing on expert contributors (journalists, authors, scientists) to share their knowledge, worldviews and struggles. Its aim is to create a dialogue between these ancestral cultures and the modern world, while raising public awareness of their key role in protecting biodiversity and building a sustainable future. A collaboration with Natives will enable the mobilisation of indigenous speakers at conferences and artistic residencies, as well as visibility for the project through their magazine.

Photoclimat

Photoclimat is a free social and environmental biennial event that transforms Paris into an open-air gallery for a month. Founded by Nicolas Henry, this artistic and civic event highlights major ecological and societal issues through contemporary photographic works, while giving visibility to the actions of NGOs and associations working in the field. The aim is to create an educational and civic journey, accessible to all, to raise awareness and bring together artists, NGOs and citizens around environmental and social causes. A collaboration with Photoclimat will enable the co-production of an exhibition.
