British photographer Jimmy Nelson, Honorary President of Echoes Project, is internationally acclaimed for his committed photographic work with Indigenous communities. Through his best-selling books such as Before They Pass Away and Homage to Humanity, he has captured — with rare sensitivity — the dignity, beauty, and richness of ancestral cultures under threat.

His work, exhibited in major cultural institutions around the world, is grounded in a deeply ethical approach, aiming to amplify Indigenous voices and raise public awareness of the urgent need for their preservation. His commitment to Echoes Project brings both international legitimacy and crucial media visibility to the success of the initiative.

Aimée Bouchet - Project Director
A former environmental lawyer, Aimée Bouchet has spent more than six years meeting and promoting indigenous knowledge around the world. A documentary filmmaker, photographer and author, she has collaborated with several institutions such as UNESCO, the National Museum of Natural History, the Arctic Institute and the French Southern and Antarctic Lands. Through her work, she questions the relationship between human societies and nature, which has led her to participate in documentary and scientific expedition projects in some of the most isolated regions of the planet.
Founder of the production company Adret Studio and the Echoes Project endowment fund, she works to foster dialogue between art, science and ecology, taking a poetic and committed approach to the relationship between humans and nature.
